Our Boat & River Avon Cruise

A unique experience awaits you in the historic town of Stratford upon Avon. Countess of Evesham is a popular, well established family run 70ft restaurant cruiser.

Enjoy the peace, tranquility and enchanting views whilst aboard the Restaurant Boat cruising some of the most delightful stretches of the gently flowing River Avon.

Operating throughout the year, the centrally heated Countess of Evesham travels down the River Avon to Luddington (and back). Whilst cruising at night, the boat lights up the river banks, creating a memorable atmosphere.

Whether you join us for an intimate meal for two, dinner with friends, or if you hire the restaurant boat exclusively for a special occasion, we look forward to welcoming you aboard. Countess of Evesham is the ideal place to relax and wine and dine in comfortable surroundings.

  • The Old Gum Tree Chardonnay, Australia, 2019

    Lifted peace and cream with lemon blossom, soft juicy palate and crisp cleansing finish make this an enjoyable easy drinking wine.

  • Ombrellino, Pinot Grigio, Catarratto, Italy, 2020 (vg)

    Straw-yellow with light golden hue in colour. Sweet spices and jasmine jump from the glass with a defined and harmonious perfume. It has gracefully refined dry notes on the palate and a fresh finish.

    A medium sweet wine, offering ripe honeydew melon, nectarine and pineapple fruit with an attractive sweetness.

    Wonderful balance between tropical and herbaceous flavours. Gooseberry and green pepper mingle with mango and guava.

    Nicely balanced with crisp citrus fruit providing the backbone and softer notes of green apples and aromas of white flowers adding welcoming delicacy and complexity.

    Offers good concentration and depth of fruit, with a soft and plummy texture and hints of vanilla.

    Heavy, bold and brimming with stewed black fruits and hints of coffee. A powerful opulent red.

    A complex wine that displays a harmonious blend of dried, stewed fruits and nuances of leather, vanilla and tobacco

    Juicy black fruit on the nose and cranberry nuances on the palate, tied together with a smoky sandalwood character.

  • Le Bois des Violettes Rosé, South of France 2019 (vg)

    Fresh and crisp with very subtle strawberry fruit and a dash of sweet spice. This is a structured and vibrant wine.

    With a subtle floral scent on the nose this white has flavours of melon, citrus fruits and a touch of fennel.

    Your own mini bottle of a delicate and aromatic fine bubbled wine. Carrying a lots of fresh peach, pear and an elegant zest.

  • Fiammetta Prosecco Rosé, Italy 2020 (v)

    Light pink in colour, with typical copper hues. The bouquet is intense. Delicate hints of acacia flowers, typical of Glera variety, blend with violet and raspberry noes from Pinot Nero.

  • Prosecco Bel Canto, NV, Italy (v)

    Delicate and aromatic with fine bubbles. This wine carries lots of fresh peach, pear and an elegant zest.

  • Paul Drouet Brut, Champagne, NV, France (vg)

    Apple and brioche lead the way in this medium bodied, fruity and classically biscuity style of Champagne.
