A unique experience awaits you in the historic town of Stratford upon Avon. Countess of Evesham is a popular, well established family run 70ft restaurant cruiser.

Enjoy the peace, tranquility and enchanting views whilst aboard the Restaurant Boat cruising some of the most delightful stretches of the gently flowing River Avon.

Operating throughout the year, the centrally heated Countess of Evesham travels down the River Avon to Luddington (and back). Whilst cruising at night, the boat lights up the river banks, creating a memorable atmosphere.

Whether you join us for an intimate meal for two, dinner with friends, or if you hire the restaurant boat exclusively for a special occasion, we look forward to welcoming you aboard. Countess of Evesham is the ideal place to relax and wine and dine in comfortable surroundings.

    Medium/sweet A medium wine offering a fresh aromatic bouquet followed by honeydew melon fruit & an attractive sweetness, with good balancing acidity.

  • Five Foot Track Chardonnay, Australia

    Pale straw yellow with youthful green hues. A nose of citrus fruits & ripe apples, with underlying notes of vanilla. Crisp lemon & lime on the palate served up with a rounded & buttery feel.

  • Alfredini Garganega, Pinot Grigio, Italy

    Refreshing and crisp with aromas of lime, grapefruit and lemon, making this a well balanced wine. Very easy to drink.

    Lively & fresh with clean citrus aromas. Crisp, fruity & steely dry on the palate. The finish is long & lean.

  • Aires Andinos Malbec, Argentina

    Deep ruby colour with smoky black fruits of cassis, blackberry & spice. The concentration of the wine perform well above its price point with soft tannins and a long finish.

    Deep ruby colour with hints of opulent rich raspberries and cherries, plums & spice. The palate is laden with generous lashing of fruit, redcurrants & spice with a smooth warming finish.

    A youthful and vibrant wine offering raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit, lifted by hints of violet and spicy oak notes.

  • Bois des Violettes, Vin de Pays D’Oc, France 2008

    A fresh salmon pink rose giving delicious strawberry, cherry fruits on the palate. A fantastic balance between the acidity and fruit characters results in an off-dry rose.

    Classic Tempranillo notes of dark cherry & blackcurrant are lifted by a hint of dried flowers & sweet spice. Superbly balanced, the fruits of the forest flavours are perfectly complemented by soft tannins.

  • Prosecco Corte Alta, Italy

    Delicate & aromatic with a light body & fine bubbles. This wine carries lots of fresh peach, pear, apricot & apple with a revitalising finish.

  • Raboso Rosada Corte Alta, Italy

    The little-known Raboso grape is essentially the sister grape of the white prosecco and here used to make a similarly delicate sparkling wine.
