Countess of Evesham is excited to announce the first of many jazz evenings.

Starting with Betsy Harmony Trio on Wednesday 1st May.

Doors open at 7pm. We depart at 7:30pm from the basin.

£40 per person includes: menu below, three hour cruise and live entertainment.

    Medium/sweet A medium wine offering a fresh aromatic bouquet followed by honeydew melon fruit & an attractive sweetness, with good balancing acidity.

    Pale straw yellow with youthful green hues. A nose of citrus fruits & ripe apples, with underlying notes of vanilla. Crisp lemon & lime on the palate served up with a rounded & buttery feel.

  • Alfredini Garganega, Pinot Grigio, Italy

    Refreshing and crisp with aromas of lime, grapefruit and lemon, making this a well balanced wine. Very easy to drink.

    Astonishing aromas of tropical fruit flavours and peach on the nose. The smoothness and intense flavours are held by a zesty, refreshing acidity.

    Lively & fresh with clean citrus aromas. Crisp, fruity & steely dry on the palate. The finish is long & lean.

  • Aires Andinos Malbec, Argentina

    Deep ruby colour with smoky black fruits of cassis, blackberry & spice. The concentration of the wine perform well above its price point with soft tannins and a long finish.

  • Vina Carrasco Merlot, Chile

    Deep ruby colour with hints of opulent rich raspberries and cherries, plums & spice. The palate is laden with generous lashing of fruit, redcurrants & spice with a smooth warming finish.

  • Baron De Baussac Carignan, South of France

    Deep & inky red in colour, the wine is crammed with black cherry fruit, lifted by subtle vanilla aromas from a touch of oak ageing. Bold meaty tannins provide satisfying texture & length.

  • Wirra Wirra Good Catch Shiraz, Cabernet, Petit Verdot, Australia

    A youthful and vibrant wine offering raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit, lifted by hints of violet and spicy oak notes.

  • Bois des Violettes, Vin de Pays D’Oc, France 2008

    A fresh salmon pink rose giving delicious strawberry, cherry fruits on the palate. A fantastic balance between the acidity and fruit characters results in an off-dry rose.

    Fresh, floral aromas reminiscent of aromatic herbs such as anise & fennel, the smooth & velvety palate is fruit driven with citrus & banana characteristics.

    Classic Tempranillo notes of dark cherry & blackcurrant are lifted by a hint of dried flowers & sweet spice. Superbly balanced, the fruits of the forest flavours are perfectly complemented by soft tannins.

  • Prosecco Corte Alta, Italy

    Delicate & aromatic with a light body & fine bubbles. This wine carries lots of fresh peach, pear, apricot & apple with a revitalising finish.

  • Raboso Rosada Corte Alta, Italy

    The little-known Raboso grape is essentially the sister grape of the white prosecco and here used to make a similarly delicate sparkling wine.
